Zoo Day!

Well, I've unwillingly been neglecting my blog for the past week or so.  Last week ended up being surprisingly busy, and by the time I finally sat down to write an entry on Friday, the computer wouldn't allow me to log in.

Ryan tried quite a few different things to fix it, but when it still wasn't working, we ended up having to wipe the entire computer with our recovery discs and start fresh.  We were able to log on again, but it appeared that our external hard drive hadn't correctly saved all of our information...a huge disappointment to think that so many of our important documents, pictures and videos of the kids, everything, was gone.

After quite a bit of playing around, Ryan realized that it was all there, just saved under a different area, so Praise God!  We still have everything and the computer is working fine.  Apparently, the initial problem wasn't due to a virus or anything, but probably due to the computer being shut down improperly at some point.  Occasionally Windows will respond that way.

Anyway, without further adieu, here are the two posts I planned to put up on Friday:

We were blessed to be able to go to the zoo with Emily and her kiddos on Wednesday, and we all had such a fun time.  The day was so beautiful, perfect to be outside!  After a chaotic day with the boys on Tuesday, I was so glad for a day outdoors, away from home, and the chance to be with a friend. So refreshing!

I was surprised how much Charlie enjoyed it and seems to remember it!  He keeps saying "Zoo-Fun" and "Jaffe" (giraffe)!  It was also hilarious to hear Brady and Abe talking together like little adults.  They were having conversations between the two of them without knowing we were listening, and it was so funny at times!

Some pictures of the day:

This was so cute, to see them all holding hands together!
