Chicago Weekend

Last Friday, we headed down to Chicago to meet Ryan's parents for the weekend. His dad and mom were assisting with the reading of the Memorandum at the Chicago church, so it was the perfect opportunity to meet in the middle and spend some time together! What a wonderful weekend. We were able to really enjoy one another's company, though as usual, the time went too fast. For some reason, this time more than others, made me really miss everyone back home.

Abe was really looking forward to going, and Friday couldn't come quickly enough! He was so excited about going swimming, so we made sure to get plenty of swim time on Saturday. Daddy had to take an online quiz, but he came down afterward, and he and Abe had an absolute blast playing in the pool! Being with Daddy always makes little boys a little more brave, I think :) Some pool pics:

Dad and Mom, thank you so much for an awesome weekend and for your love and generosity. We had such a wonderful time with you and wish it wouldn't be so far off until we're with you again. We love you!
