Weekend

A few weekends ago, Ryan was off both Saturday and Sunday.  Woohoo!  We originally intended to go to the fair, but since it was a Saturday and there were only two days left of it, we thought it would probably be very crowded. We both agreed that we didn't really want to spend our time maneuvering crowds of people and crazy long lines.  While I think the boys would have really enjoyed it, we knew they would love the much-less-crowded beach just as much (which was free, to boot!).

It ended up being an absolutely beautiful evening, and the boys had a wonderful time, content to throw rocks into the lake.  After the beach, we went to a new taco restaurant near our house, the Belair Cantina.  They opened just a few months ago and are always packed.  Being the taco-loving family that we are, I wanted to try it.  Open air dining, unique flavors, and great prices...we really enjoyed it!

I really wanted a picture of me and my boys, but they refused to cooperate.  This was the best we got, and of course, the guy in the background just makes it even better ;)

Abe wanted to take a few pictures of the evening, too.  These were taken in the garage as we pulled in, complete with his finger covering part of the lens!
